Electronic insult "its ruling on, images and punishment in jurisprudence and law" Aim of research: the research aims at emerging the purposes of al_ shariah for keeping rights and interests, proving human rights in defending their honour and dignity, prevailing legal awareness for the modern events in society, the greatness of Islamic jurisprudence and adapting the contemporary variables and prevailing the applicable laws on computer_ related crimes which will work as a deterrent to every one abuse the internet and the information technology to threat people in their honour and dignity. Some of the most prominent findings achieved by this research are: 1- Islam always maintains people's honour and encloses them with a fence of laws such as prohibition of insult to keep Muslim's dignity, the unity of the nation, concord among its members. 2- Insult differs from libel in alshriah and it is materialized by attributing defects and slander to someone one. 3- Electronic insult is a computer_ related crime offends honour and dignity. 4- Insult in Islam is prohibited either it is electronic or written and the one do it is scolded but those who do sins publicly May be insulted to warn people of them. 5- The punishment of electronic insult in alshariah is like verbal insult scold and various one . The judge has the right to impose the proper punishment whereas it is specific in the law and varies from country to country.
