يناقش البحث حقوق كبار السن في الفقه الإسلامي ، وفي النظام أو القانون السعودي من خلال ثلاثة فصول ، يتضمن الفصل الأول المبحث الأول ويتحدث عن مفهوم الحق في اللغة والاصطلاح والمبحث الثاني يتناول تعريف كبار السن في اللغة والاصطلاح الفقهي .
بينما يأتي الحديث في الفصل الثاني الذي أتى على حقوق كبار السن في الفقه الإسلامي في مبحثه الأول عن حقوقهم في الاحترام والرعاية الأسرية ، وفي المبحث الثاني يتطرق لحقوقهم في الرعاية الصحية وفي المبحث الثالث كان مدار البحث عن واجبات كبار السن .
وفي الفصل الثالث من هذا البحث والذي تركز الحديث فيه عن حقوق كبار السن في النظام السعودي وجاء في المبحث الأول منه ليتلمس ما خصه المنظم بالعناية من حقوقهم في الاحترام والرعاية الاجتماعية وأعقب ذلك المبحث الثاني والذي أبرز حقوقهم النظامية بالرعاية الصحية واخُتتم الفصل بمقارنة بين حقوق كبار السن في الفقه الإسلامي والنظام السعودي .

While the discussion comes in the second chapter, which deals with the rights of the elderly in Islamic jurisprudence, in its first section it is about their rights to respect and family care, and in the second section it addresses their rights to health care, and in the third section it is about the duties of the elderly .
In the third chapter of this research, in which the discussion focused on the rights of the elderly in the Saudi system, the first section touched on what the organizer allocated to caring for their rights to respect and social care. This was followed by the second section, which highlighted their regular rights to health care, and the chapter concluded with a comparison between the rights of the elderly.
