يهدف هذا البحث إلي مناقشة نوع مهم من أدق أنواع علوم الحديث، وهو الشذوذ وأثره في الحديث النبوي، ومن أهداف هذا البحث أيضا بيان الاختلاف الواقع بين المحدثين من جانب والفقهاء والأصوليين من جانب آخر في شرط انتفاء الشذوذ عن الحديث الصحيح،كذلك إزالة الالتباس الواقع بين الشذوذ والتفرد والنكارة وغيرها من الاصطلاحات المتداخلة معه، كذلك تحرير مسألة المخالفة واقترانها بالتفرد . 
This research aims to discuss an important type of Hadith Term, which is the oddity and its impact on the Prophet’s Hadith. Among the objectives of this research is also to clarify the difference that exists between the Hadith scholars on the one hand and the jurists and fundamentalists on the other hand, in the condition that there is no deviation from the authentic Hadith; Also removing the confusion between oddity, exclusivity, negativity and other terms that overlap with it. As well as editing the issue of violation and its association with exclusivity.
