 هذا البحث في بيان أن السحر وتعريفه ومعرفة حقيقته، وأنواعه، مع بيان حکم السحر والساحر سواء من المسلمين أو من غيرهم ممن هم في ديار المسلمين، واليوم السحر أکثر من ذي قبل ساعد على ذلک وسائل عدة من وسائل الإعلام، والکتب والمؤلفات، ومعاهد اعدت لذلک مع ظهور ما يسمى بالروحية الحديثة، وهذا الانتشار جعل عدد من الناس يلجون في ذلک إما بداعي حب النظر والاطلاع أو التأثر بما يذکر ويشاع، أو السعي للتأثر على غيرهم ممن يحبون أو يکرهون. ولسلامة من شر السحر والسحرة ختمت البحث ببيان سبل الوقاية من شر السحر قبل وقوعه، أو علاجه ودفعه بعد وقوعه.
