تناقش الدِّراسة لاميَّة الغَزَّاوِيّ (يبشّرُ باسمِ اللهِ في کُلِّ مَوسِمِ) التي تُعدُّ إحدى حوليَّاته الشِّعريَّة في تهنئة الملک عبد العزيز بعيد الأضحى. وتطبق الدِّراسة نظريَّة التَّواصُل الإقناعيّ (Persuasive Communication) لـميشيل لو نيت (Michel Le Nit) على اللَّاميَّة؛ بوصفها رسالة واضحة ومباشرة، يهدف منها الشَّاعر إلى إقناع المخاطب بدور فضيلة الممدوح الدِّينيَّة في إحياء المجتمع؛ ومن ثمَّ في اعتلاء الممدوح المکانة العليا فيه. وتُفيدُ الدِّراسة، أيضًا، من نظريتي: الفضيلة (The Virtue) لنوراني Yaseen Noorani، والنَّمط الموسميّ (Seasonal Pattern) لجاستر (Theodor Gaster) في مناقشتها لقصيدة التَّهنئة التي تتکرَّر موسميًّا في زمان ومکان محدَّدين أمام مجموعة معيَّنة من المخاطبين؛ لتوضيح دور الفضيلة المستمرّ في استقرار حال المجتمع، وعلاقة استمرار هذه الحال باستمرار مکانة الممدوح العُليا في المجتمع. وتوظف الدِّراسة المنهجين: الموضوعاتيِّ والأسلوبيِّ في معالجتها النَّقديَّة.
The study discusses Al-Ghazzāwī's lāmiyyah (yubashsheru bismi Allāh fī kulli mawsimi), which is one of his poetic annals in felicitating King Abdulaziz on ʿīd al–Adha. The study applies the theory of (Persuasive Communication) by Michel Le Nit to the lāmiyyah, which is to be considered as a clear and direct message from which the poet aims to convince the addressee of the role of the mamdūḥ's religious virtue in reviving society, and thus in ascending the supreme position in it. The study will also benefit from two theories: (The Virtue) by Yaseen Noorani and (The Seasonal Pattern) of Theodor Gaster in its discussion of the felicitating poem that is repeated seasonally in a specific time and place in front of a specific group of addressees to emphasize the continuing role of virtue in stabilizing the state of society, and the relationship of the continuation of this state to the continuation of the mamdūḥ's supreme position in society. The study employs the thematic and stylistic approaches in its critical treatment.
